This short-term exchanges of groups of pupils consisted of a physical mobility of expert teachers and students (GROUP 1) to Slovakia and a virtual learning mobility before and after the physical mobility. The focus of this physical mobility was measuring and analyzing of energy consumption within national policy frameworks. PREPARATION PHASE: Preparation by all partners before the physical mobility to Slovakia was realized through virtual learning between partners on the following topics – measuring and analyzing of energy consumption within national policy framework – workshops on measuring, on data logging, visualization,… – preparing presentation about their country, school – preparing presentation about national energy policies, domestic installation, green deal,… Preparation of sending partners (Belgium): preparing all necessary actions, dealing with the physical mobility such as: – student selection – communications and agreements with the parents – transport booking – insurance – arrangement in school (exchange hours with other teachers) Preparation of receiving school (Slovakia) – arrangement of accommodation for the incoming visitors – preparation lab set up – computer infrastructure – arrangements of cultural activities – declaration form – arrangement in school (exchange hours with other teachers) PHYSICAL PHASE: Students and teachers exchanged a lot of information about situation in each country during: – presentation of European green deal and climate change – presentation of energy policies in Slovakia and Belgium – discussions of the different energy management reports students made about their own domestic installation. – discussion on quick wins to save energy. During this mobility students did some workshops about – measurement of energy consumption (comparing using several sensors) – data logging of energy data and storing into real-time database (using php) – cloud based graphing and analyzing technologies for presenting measured data (Joomla) We visited also Energoland, museum of energy situated near a nuclear energy plant. EVALUATION PHASE: evaluation by all partners after the physical mobility to Slovakia was realized by Google Forms an conclusion was: – accommodation: very good, but the food was not good so we decided to look for another location to stay – workshop: the students worked very hard on their workshop and they were motivated, they suggested also some changes in the descriptions of the workshop so we could improve it – cultural activities, students of Belgium were very impressed – students kept in touch with each other.
